Decrease in births is explained by age and sex breakdown of population. In case of no actions, births will decrease in next years also, considering the number of population within 15-25 age groups. To support the improvement of this demographic pattern, the Government increased payments to families for each newborn child. From July 1, 2020 payments for each born child will increase by 2-6 times. If positive migration noticed in 2018-2019 would continue, this may also support to pattern improvement.
